1. Cape Henlopen State Park
The popular walking trail and bike loop inside Cape Henlopen State Park is a 3.3-mile paved (mostly flat) trail that winds through the scenic park. With sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and the impressive, towering dunes, as well as a natural deer habitat, this is a park that should go on your must-visit list. With multiple opportunities for exploration in the great outdoors, this would be a fun way to spend an afternoon.
